Artist Statement
My latest pieces which are pod like in form are sculptural; they combine designs inspired by nature, with signature features used across my previous work. The pods depict and narrate the development and progression of my personal journey with clay. They are wheel thrown using Southern Ice porcelain, altered, carved and refilled. They are fired to 1300 deg C.
