Artist Statement	I love the immediacy of working on the potters wheel where every touch of the clay creates a new curve or bulge, every movement of the fingers has its consequence, every gesture can have its voice. I have tried to make my glazes as tactile as possible while remaining functional in their gloss and durability. I am interested in the unpredictability of the glaze surface, how the heat of the kiln will work on the glaze materials to create something unique every time. I make functional wares for use and love in the home.
